I love Vermillion.
Hailing from Indiana, My husband and I moved here 7 years ago and Vermillion quickly became my home. I’ve opened and run two brick and mortar businesses and welcomed two children into this vibrant, lovely community.
I serve as the Vice President of the United Way of Vermillion, the Secretary of the Vermillion Area Chamber and Development Company, and have planned and executed many events and initiatives during my time as a Vermillion resident. I would be honored to serve on the city council representing the Northwest Ward of this amazing community.
Priorities
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
For good reason, I’m passionate about small business. That passion goes hand-in-hand with strategic initiatives for all business that serves the Vermillion community. We can be both deliberate and welcoming while working together to grow this amazing town.
HOUSING
Housing is tough all around the country. There is not enough housing, and certainly, we lack in affordable housing. I would love to work on solutions for housing with the many important partners around Vermillion.
COMMUNITY
This community has welcomed me and my family, and I hope to continue the important work so many have put in to making this a compassionate, open, energetic place.
